She is looking over her shoulder, nervous, and opening up a small trap door hidden behind a counter. There is stair steps down under the trap door. The narration continues, "We're learning a lot of things here- learning things that will help the world."

Panel 3: Madame walks down the long staircase, against a solid cinderblock wall. Her hand is open, casting a small orb of magical light to illuminate her path. Her expression is distant and melancholy. Madame's narration caption says, "I work directly under the Mayor of Roseseed, as part of his research team. My work is very important."
